My wife and I served as evangelical, protestant missionaries in France for eleven and a half years, after which I became the pastor and director of a Christian school in a French-speaking evangelical church, L'Eglise Evangelique de Saint Jerome, in Quebec, Canada. After serving in Quebec for five years, we then moved to Greenville, South Carolina, where I became the pastor of the First Evangelical Church of Greenville. In 1995, we moved to Tallahassee, Florida, where I eventually assumed the management of the family business, and remained there until 2012, when our family moved to Meridian, Idaho. My wife and I have six children. These short devotionals are born out of the loss of one of these children in particular, with the hope and prayer that they will serve to encourage and inspire those who read them in their walk with Christ. God bless you all, and may we finish well the race set before us.

“Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only deceiving your own selves.” James 1:22 From the beginning of the church at Pentecost, the body of Christ has been on a steep learning curve.  It is a curve that is steep because of the blessing of Pentecost, the provision of the Spirit in His…

Take Time To Be Holy

“And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend.  And he turned again into the camp; but his servant Joshua, son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.” Exodus 33:11 What is the great characteristic that we see in every man or woman who…

If Ye Be Risen With Christ

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.” Galatians 2:20 The whole of true Christianity, with respect to its small beginnings to the enduring legacy of its endurance and experience, has its beginning and basis in one central fact, expressed by the Lord Jesus on the cross:…
